One platform. Full focus.

Yesterday, DT and Affle jointly announced the sale of the former AdColony technology assets and trademark to Affle.

Following our acquisitions of Fyber and AdColony back in 2021, DT made a deliberate decision to consolidate around a single exchange platform. That became DTX - the platform driving hundreds of millions of dollars in value to publishers, and connecting hundreds of thousands of brands to billions of users.

With that consolidation completed in 2023, the remaining AdColony assets  – the legacy SDK, certain integrations, tech platform, and domain – no longer played a role in our unified platform strategy. Affle was a natural home for those assets and a natural partner for what’s next.

DT’s investment and roadmap are fully behind our core: DTX, device-native distribution, first-party data, and differentiated audience intelligence. That’s where we’ve been building – and where we’re going.

The platforms that emerge strongest are the ones that make purposeful decisions about what they are and back those decisions with capital. That’s been our approach at DT. To our publishers, clients, partners, and advertisers: this transaction changes nothing in your day-to-day relationship with DT. If anything, it sharpens our ability to serve you.
